Bendi Bazaar: An afternoon adventure to find the best street food in town.

We went on a trip to an obscure and far flung part of Mumbai city after buying a timeout where they reviewed the area's street food. After wondering around for 30mins and getting lost and people staring at us and Jess worrying as she hadn't brought a shawl in a predominantly Muslim area this is what we found. This is a Baidi Roti and god damn was it good.

Young entrepreneurship is incredible in India. A group of young lads built rafts out of bamboo and palm leaves and charged people 8 quid to go 15 minutes down the river!
